Excel Treemap Chart from Pivot Tables

In this video, Neil Malek of Knack Training uses a Pivot Table to lay out the data for a Treemap Chart. These charts can't use Pivot Tables as the source data yet, but they're useful for creating layouts.

Thank you for this nice tutorial video. Can we create a Treemap with dynamic data (interactive with other fields)? For example: I want to see the change of Treemap of Comercial and Residental when I click on Year/ month slicer.

the title is misleading, your treemap is build on plain data table and not a pivot table.

Misleading, it's not a treemap from pivot table, it's treemap from regular table pasted from pivot table which doesn't work when pivot table is refreshed.
