When I was in highschool, I would spend two hours getting ready for school, curling my hair and doing my makeup. It was definitely an obsession and really fed into my insecurities. I wish I had the kind of confidence and skincare knowledge that I have now (shout out to Cassandra) because getting ready/skincare should not be stressful or feel like work.

I just cried watching Cassie's routine. It brought back memories. I used to wake up 2 hours before school just to get ready and I would plan out my entire week of outfits on Sundays. Gosh I remember those feelings of desperately wanting to be noticed and validated.

Cassandra without seeing the show: "Cassieee what's going on!!"

The ones who have seen the show: "Girl...a lot of things are going on"😂

Watching this made me feel the old anxiety and insecurity of my high school years come flooding back! The agony of waking up to a zit! Keep sending out those positive vibes and sound advice, Cassandra, your message is wonderful! Wish you had been around for MY high school years!

I’d love to see you make this a series. I think the morning routine of skincare is such a unique gateway to the character’s psyche. For example the methodical placement of everything on American Horror Story or the sneaking around of Mrs. Maisel.

What’s funny is that she wouldn’t have to depuff her skin so much if she slept the extra 2 hours

Amazing show and so interesting that you chose this to dive into. And as someone who has bipolar disorder, yes this is absolutely the kind of shit we do when we're manic. I also obsessively applied way too much makeup during manic episodes. We don't sleep much anyway, so 4 am is as good a time as any to do your skincare routine

I love Cassandra for her honesty in sharing knowledge in her contents, and she's considerate in her sentences. I've learnt a lot from her. And on top of that, she sounds fun and funny. Keep on, Cassie! You rock

The show deals with heavy stuff and it can be pretty dark and shocking at times. Major trigger warning for a variety of subject matter. But it also has amazing cinematography, beautiful moments, and can stretch your heart wide open. I am amazed at the energy and talent the actors (especially Rue) use for their scenes! I hope they all have psychological support for this gig.

I legit had the PERFECT skin back in high school (I was always very into skincare and caring for my face) but I didn’t have a big group of friends or anything like that. Some ppl will hate u cause ur pretty and other will hate cause ur not. It’s so sad to see that this still is a trend. It’s all about someone’s heart ❤️

"you are wonderful, you are fantastic and you have many gifts to give to this world" and this is why I watch. She reminds me that I'm great even though my acne is flaring up. Thats looks aren't everything. love this YouTuber.!!!

When my acne was at its worse I became really really obsessive with my skincare routine. Specific my night routine. I would exfoliate, ice my face, do a clay mask for an hour, toner, moisturizer, topical medication EVERY DAY. That came with an extreme burnout after and only washing my face and wearing sunscreen. Altough my skin did get better. Now I reflect and recognise I was being obsessive with having perfect skin not really healthy skin.

I can totally relate. I used to wake up at 4:30am to get ready for college. Basically all the time spent was on doing my makeup, I tried so hard to cover my scars and acne, I was very insecure, also I've always hated my undereyes, I was so conscious about them. I didn't make much with my hair, all I wanted was a perfect no-makeup makeup look.
After some years my skin cleared so much, I just keep fighting with my undereyes. I can totally feel what is like to see in a mirror and don't like what you see

I used to get mania and I had a picture of the sea on my wall I danced around the room exercising hallucinating the sea waves coming out of the picture I also had pictures of some male celebs in my room and I exercised with the picture in front of me manically thinking I could be with I'm medicated these days, now it happens rarely lol

I liked this analysis and I'm definitely down to be apart of a Euphoria watch party.

Ohhh yeah, as someone with a double diagnosis of bipolar 2 and borderline personality disorder, I can confidently say that it’s definitely what Cassie’s character is going through. I’m not sure about the bipolar 2, but the borderline personality disorder is most definitely what she has and is going through.

Ah, Cassandra. Every time you talk about the past, I just feel happy to see you confident in your own skin and able to reflect on it in such a healthy, optimistic way now. It’s always inspiring ❤

1, 5 hours is like my “happy that I got down to this time” time. When I wore a full face of makeup everyday I woke up 2, 5 hours early (I eat slowly)
Work from home was the best thing to ever happen to me

Although I never had acne, I have had self-esteem issues. And at 59 just starting skin case and wearing make-up. Your channel has ment the world to me. I have learned so much, I turn and learn ingredients. Thank you for all your positive thoughts and videos
