Hello -- This series of videos lets you know about my daily routine for putting on my TPN via my Hickman Line in my chest. It answers some basic questions you may have. Hopefully these videos will be helpful.

This video is the intro explaining why I'm on TPN. I broke the series into 6 videos so it wasn't one big long video, and easier to watch.

Total parenteral nutrition (TPN) is a method of feeding that bypasses the gastrointestinal tract. Fluids are given into a vein to provide most of the nutrients the body needs. The method is used when a person cannot or should not receive feedings or fluids by mouth.

Thanks for watching. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments. I will be posting more videos about traveling with TPN, and showering. Also, as a reminder I am NOT a medical professional, these are just my opinions and experiences.

I am planning on making a few more videos on subject such as showering / dealing with water, and traveling with your TPN bags. I will also try to respond to any questions with videos. Again, hopefully this helps connect people with similar issues.
