Oasis Be Here Now [Full Album] (Mike’s 2024 Remaster)

This is a remaster I made of Be Here Now to make the listening experience less fatiguing.

I used AI technology to de-mix the songs from the original WAV files and separate the instruments to the best of my abilities.

General approach was to de-harsh the guitars and bring up the bass and drums transients a bit, rebalancing the elements.

Track one is Noel’s 2016 remix of D’You Know What I Mean (also remastered by me) followed by the rest of the album and then some of the best B-Sides as bonus tracks.

Hope you guys enjoy and that we get to see it one day properly remixed by Noel.

I genuinely think if you stripped back all the nonsense from the tracks on BHN you'd have an album to rival DefMaybe. All Around the World had a 34 piece orchestra an you can't even hear them on it! Really enjoyed what you've done here, Mike! Done a brilliant job. Imagine the Fade in-out album version being the same as the Gmex, would be mega.

This is absolutely stunning - it's always been my favourite Oasis album, but this gives it a new lease of life and it has never sounded as good as this. A real joy to listen to and some tracks are given an extraordinary lift (The Fever sounds like an all time classic here). Thank you!

I skipped Be Here Now when it came out (I was 16 and by that time was into metal and heavier stuff). I put it on for the first time when the reunion was announced and I like a few of the songs, it seriously captures that "I've tanned a lot of drugs and I'm listening back to a loop of a riff I've recorded a million times" feeling, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's Liam Gallagher's peak vocal performance imo. The songs Be Here Now, D'You Know What I Mean and It's Getting Better Man are really great tunes.

Frankly, I prefer the original version of D'You Know What I Mean to the 2016 version. It's ballsier and dare I say ambitious, which isn't generally something Britpop bands or those bands that Oasis inspired - ie Kasabian - are known for. The best bands evolve.

I maintain the belief that All Around The World is one of the worst songs ever committed to tape. That was the song that stopped me listening to Oasis from 1997 to 2024 😂 It sounds like a Christian rock band trying to do Hey Jude.

The demixing approach really seems useful for projects like these. Especially considering how busy the original album's mixes are. Nicely done, and hopefully you can share lossless dl links of your Oasis projects if possible.

This makes listening so much more enjoyable. Currently on "Magic Pie" and so far, so good. "Fatiguing" is the perfect word for the original mix. It has good songs, but it's a hard listen front to back.
