Water tank major furniture for stamina management or the Scrapper station for health on crew attack is amazing on the Snow. I also recommend the minor furniture that has the extra 10% stamina regeneration. Along with stamina/blocking foods, this makes the Snow basically impenetrable. With volley type weapons like the Demi-cannons, I can unload full bursts and immediately go back to blocking during the few seconds between reloads. Coupled with the Royal Custodian and spamming repair kit I’s, you have a 2/3 uptime of an extra 35% damage mitigation, so even when you’re not blocking you’re taking less damage.

Did this one by myself in a brigantine, just sail around the islands so the torpedoes can't hit you and the Dardenells make quick work of him.

The problem with all these build videos is that for casual solo player the grind to get the top gear here is soul crushing to the point that it truely discourages me from playing the game. I simply do not have the time to put into getting any of that armor or guns. And by the time i get to them there will be a new meta out there that will start the process all over again. I am stuck at the mid level items right now and feel i can't compete for the higher level items. very frustrating so far.

I killed him kiting... from a disctance... there all these small islands. you can bascially lob your shots while not getting hit from torpedos. when he moves you move and keep the islands between you both...you can kill quite easy then. the quest doenst say you should try to out-tank him :D

Use the patches of land to block the torpedoes. This trivializes the fight, did it on a brigantine.

If I were you I'd try to angle my nose towards him when he torpedoes, so you don't expose your broad sides. That way you're a smaller target.

I fought that dude with a lvl 10 friend had to pin him on the reef and absorb all the torpedoes from 1 side saving his ass we came back and wreaked him a few days later lol

I used the island to block his attacks and that made it super easy for me to shoot over and still hit him.

You didnt mention zamas at all though. I use zama on the snow for the vunerabilty curious why you would still choose balista? But ill see if i have any to compare

Ive done that bounty in the helmbreaker with 3 dardanelles and the same ballista i found the gold armour worked better then the princes when using the small health kits over and over for the fortified buff

Dardanelles Gun is better because it maximizes the total DPS of the ship. With the ballista, you end up losing a lot of time reloading each shot and become vulnerable during this time with this build, and also, the 50% healing is better due to the low cooldown time.

you could also use dardanells bombard gun for front and back

you can get ourobouros armor by buying it with 50 monstrous tooth or 50 ethereal ashes
