Time to take down the matriarch of the jungle hives - the Queen Bee! In this Beginner's Guide Series episode we tackle the boss, go over fight mechanics and gear recommendations, and prepare you to beat the Queen on all difficulty levels: Classic, Expert, and Master Mode. I just fought the queen bee for the first time and I found that if I stayed on my tiny island between two giant pools of honey, that the fight was quite easy. I just used the Blue Moon flail to deflect the bees, and then attack with the diamond staff/space gun. It was a fun fight and I managed to get all three items with only 3 fights! Overall, if you have the life regen band and you use the honey, you should be safe.

Thank you for this guide! I started game three days ago for the first time, and already loving it, but it is pretty overwhelming. Thanks to you I have a not shoe box base, few NPCs, and first pylon. If you're interested I have couple of thoughts from struggling beginner:
-The controls on the mobile are confusing. I was getting crazy trying to build a staircase for an hour, and after wanting to smash my phone I found out about this smart cursor thingy xD And I still don't know how to use auto select, it looks like I'm missing third thumb. Maybe you could make some short tutorial abut this for dummies? I know it's probably obvious for most players, but I think many might bounce back from the game because there is so many different options and it's hard to tell what to choose when you don't know how to play yet.

-Money. How to earn it? Im afraid to sell ores or gems coz I think I will need everything in the future. I know we can sell animals or food, but is there something worth investing time in the beginning to make a coin? Fishing, planting gems, gardening?

-Fishing guide would be nice too, I've read I can find nice loot in the oasis crates, but I don't have an oasis in my dessert.

-Maybe you could make some little features guide? I mean things that are easy to miss in the begging. For example I created many worlds just to find one with the background I like, then I learned about world globe xD I also would not figure out we can shake trees with axe for wands. I'm wondering what else is there :)

-Corruption. How does it work? I have corruption not that far from world spawn, but I like building, and it takes a lot of time. Now I'm afraid If I spend too much time building it will come to my base and destroy it. Is it possible? Should I prepare? I know there is some cleantaminator thingy, but I've read it's better to prepare. Should I start now, or is something to thing about in the end?

I know probably answers for my questions are in the wiki, but I've read dozens of pages and still learned more from your movies :) Problem with wiki is you must know what to look for, and new players don't :)

3:00 Queen Bee can also spawn anywhere in jungle biome, and she still chases us outside jungle biome or even backing home, she still follow us at last.

Hey advice: for this boss bring spike balls for her dash attack. They linger on solid blocks.
You can get them from the goblin invasion or goblin tinkerer.

8:05 honestly they should give her a special item if you manage to defeat her when above ground, just like empress of light does when you fight it during day time. The fight will be harder but with a special item it could be worth it....

Let me tell you i almost cried tears of joy when i beaten the queen bee on expert, like just 🥹 the cheese way saved me man. I might try to beat her the legit way one day, but not today.
