Taurasi is an embarrassment, and Jennifer Rizzotti, Cheryl "I don't give two shits" Reeve, and Cathy Engelbert are all embarrassments. 42 year old Taurasi was clearly too old to be on the Team given how much better the competition had become over the years, and everyone on the selection committees knew it. Taurasi is a double embarrassment because she knew she wasn't up to the task and conveniently became "injured" just before the start of the games. Injured or not, she wasn't going to, and did not withdraw from the Olympic Team because she wanted that sixth Gold Medal to have one more than Sue Bird who, like Taurasi, had 5 Gold Medals. What a Patriot! From start to finish Rizzotti, Reeve and Engelbert were out to sabotage Caitlin Clark by stacking the first five WNBA Fever games with the best opposing teams, lousy referring, and only a one day break between games. Rizzotti, Reeve, Engelbert and their co-operating cohorts did everything they could to justify keeping Caitlin Clark off the Olympic Team and Taurasi on the Olympic Team. That will be their role in basketball history. They will fittingly be nobodys.
