How to Shoot Amazing Ultra Wide Angle Photos

Back in the 1950s and 60s, fashion photog Jean Loup Sieff would show up at a Vogue shoot with only an M3 and his beloved 21mm Super Angulon (which was the UWL at the time) and force himself to make it work. And boy, did he! You can learn a lot about how to either tame the quirks of wide angle, or use them to your benefit by staring at his photos. Great video. These are very hard to master, but when the results are good, there was simply no other way to get the shot. Thanks!

Ultra-wides are just so fun to use. The widest I have on my a6300 is 16mm (24mm equivalent), but I absolutely love using the ultra-wide on my iPhone 11 Pro. Sure you can get crazy distortion, but if you know how to use it it looks awesome!

I shoot wide on an 11 mm, but my camera is APS-C so it's probably more like an 18.

im not really a fan of wide angle shots, most of my clients don't require them. But I like the Vid, so funny.
