Awesome! Last year started watching Astronomy channels daily. Telescopically viewing Saturn from 1.4 billion miles with a consumer Telescope is something my small brain can't understand. It is amazing that capability exist and almost unbelievable. Light is about 60 min old before it hits your eyes and you're seeing a planet that distance.

Ran into a bunch of amateur astronomers on a cool clear night far away from city lights -- they let me have the closest look at Jupiter (with a number of moons visible) and Saturn in their gear... Wonderful sight and an evening to remember.

Beautiful! I saw Saturn just a few years ago. The rings were a lot wider then. They're on something like a 35 year cycle. Thats a kicking telescope dude!

Most people don't realize that you can see Saturn and its rings with an ordinary pair of binoculars. 10X is enough to see the planet, but 50X is better. A spotting scope works great.

You can even tell that it's "summer" on Saturn from the shadow on the rings. It's incredible that you can see the shadow on the rings. I bet in the right season you could see a moon or two!

Holy crap you can also make out a ring gap if you look at the far left or far right side of the rings! This is epic.
