Good workflow, duplication, and archiving. However, I agree that you need an offsite copy. You could go with cloud storage (difficult with so much data) or simply replicate the data to a bunch of external drive (enclosures) as you have already done with the archives. Then simply move those offsite.

This is basically what I'm working with now, I'm so curious what your current setup looks like?

The only downfall I see in this setup is that all backups are stored at the same location. No offsite backup location. If there is a fire, lighting, robbery you may loose everything at once. I store my backups offsite and a copy of all really important data on another specially secured location (Fireproof) just to eliminate every possibility.

Love the back up for hardrive BUT how does this prevent against DATA CORRUPTION? if data is corrupted in one drive, won't all your data be COPIED and corrupted? how do you overcome data corruption? thanks !

hey sam! im about to buy either the new 15" or the 13" macbook pro. so i can edit on the go, or sort the pictures on the sofa. Also i want to connecht it to a external monitor! so waht macbook would you recommend. thank you
