Try & Buy in 2025 for Gardening SUCCESS! (Plus What NOT to Buy!)

2024 was not by best year for growing (!) - but that meant I had to get creative and find solutions to some of my biggest challenges. In this week's video I share 12 of the BEST garden hacks and buys that worked for me and that you might find helpful in 2025. If you’ve got old net curtains or find them in charity shops, you can make net bags to keep the slugs off.

Totally agree about useless barrier methods for slugs. Those bags look good and I'll try and find some. To protect small seedlings I use large plastic bottles cut in half. By the time the plant outgrows the bottle it's usually big enough that a few slug nibbles don't really matter.

Happy Christmas Kerry and Dorie 🎄 Loved the format of this video and great tips - especially love the guttering peas, they looked so healthy & the dahlia trick - that would be helpful as mine took SO much room in my laundry room this year.
P.s. the thought of checking the greenhouse temperature is definitely up my street... a joyful activity (I just need a greenhouse first 😂)
