After the division of Germany in the Yalta conference, the West began to rebuild the economy of what would become West Germany. Stalin was furious at what he saw as the West "ganging up" on him. He blocked all land routes to Berlin from the West. The Western powers overcame the blockade through the Berlin Airlift scoring a point for the West in the propaganda war.

This video covers the Edexcel GCSE History syllabus for Superpower Relations and the Cold War 1941-91. It will be useful no matter which exam board you are studying though.
