[Alg of the Week #27] Different Angle for a Simple OLL

It's actually the same alg, just a different angle. I prefer this angle.

Kennan taught me that alg. He did it like x rotation and R and F moves. Do it from the y2 angle, U' and this alg instead of U2 and standard alg.

I used to do this, then I realized that it was only faster because I was terrible at the standard version lol.

2 cool 1LLL alg cases: (one super easy one - and another one)
(the 'Setup to case' is just the inverse of the actual alg to show what the case looks like)

1.

Setup to case: (F R' F' R) U2 (R U2 R')

Recognition: Wide lefty sune/antisune OLL, Bar on UL is opposite to UFL, UBR and UF match

Alg (really easy I know): (R U2 R') U2 (R' F R F') = (trigger, sledgehammer)

There is also the inverse alg (F R' F' R U2 R U2 R') which is also incredibly easy -
Recognition: Wide sune, bar on UF is opposite to FUL, UBL and UR match- which are both opposite to URB

(In my opinion they are good algs to use to skip PLL - instead of getting an A-perm.

2.

Setup to case: M' U' M U2 M' U' R U R' U R U2 r'

Recognition: OLL recognition, 2 bars on UL and UR are opposite colors, UFL and FUR are opposite colors

Algorithm: {(r U2 R' U' R U' (R')(U M U2 M' U M)} = ( wide antisune (R U2 R' U' R U' R') - cancels into (M' U M U2 M' U M) OLL. )

Almost sad I have no reason to learn these OLLs...I solve using ZZ. I personally suggest showing some alternate OCLL algs or stuff like COLL, WV, SV, etc.

you can also do this at the y2 angle from standard alg, as R2 F R F' R U2 R' U R U2 R' U' R

So I just finished learning full PLL. I don't know if I should start learning full OLL or CLL/EG. I think both would be a little much with school, so what do you think I should do?
