Interesting fact: pour spouts have a small hole around the rim that allows air to help the liquor flow. If it is covered it prohibits the flow from being consistent. So be sure not to cover it when using your index finger to secure the spout from coming off.

thank you for this!! 😭😭 my job decided to make everyone make their own drinks during low volume times which helps our pockets BUT we weren’t all trained the basics of bartending. we were only taught the drinks on our menu 🙄 thanks! Lol
