I have max as of yesterday but I also have dicovery + but my question is do I keep my dicovery + or should drop it bc it's on max now?

I tried my HBO MAX app, it didn't automatically change to MAX. Clicked download the MAX app and it works fine. My question is now have both apps installed, do I delete HBO Max app? If doing that, does it affect the new MAX app?

I tried logging in thru my cable provider...everything looked fine but it asked me to reset my password on a browser...if I do that will my email password that I use for everything change also?...I backed out...should I try the 3rd option?..signing in thru max itself?...this is so confusing...

All these individual streaming services combined are more than a cable package. The entire concept of these streaming services was to be a cheaper alternative. Yikes.

Hello Since HBO MAX is no more i use to have HBO MAX on my Roku 55 inch But suddenly it updated to MAX
MAX is comimg next month in Febuary here in The Caribbean but will all my HBO max watchlist will switch to MAX wen its Luanch in February

I am a Subscriber to the Discovery Plus but there are no HBO videos on that streaming service yet. Another thing is that Cinemax is part of HBO, and that channel is not part of the merger for some reason.

I have been subscribed to both hbo max and discovery. Discovery plus is staying as a stand alone service. From a quick browse in the new max app, it doesn't look like all discovery content is there. Am I correct? Max in 4k will be more expensive and I don't feel like I want to pay for both seperate services.

Streaming is becoming a year long puzzle its easy to join and cancel subs people will be planning what service they will have at what will never buy a year long sub because of all the changes that can happen....like adding and dropping channels and events....These companies thought people will pile on services on top of each other but prices shun that idea plan things out and budget yourselves!!!!

So senes HBO max and discovery plus merge into MAX does that mean that discovery plus will no longer exist as it's own streaming service? ( just like what HBO max did with the DC universe streaming service ) Because it doesn't make sense for all the discovery plus content being moved from one service to another and still have it existing as a separate streaming service. So does that mean that discovery plus is going to be fully absorbed into MAX like DC universe was absorbed into HBO max was? An will everyone who has a discovery plus have it turn into MAX like what happened to everyone who had HBO max have it changed to MAX?
We all know that many of the streaming services that are around are either going to merge with other streaming services to form a bigger streaming service or they will just remain separate services that can be bundled. For example Disney owns most if not all of hulu and they also have their own streaming service Disney plus but Disney still chooses to keep hulu as a separate streaming service rather than just merge them together/have one streaming service simply absorbed the other one. Eventually we all know that it will come down to either 2 or 3 big streaming services that merge/absorbed the others, the question now is which streaming services will be absorbed/ merge with another streaming service and which will be one of the last main streaming services?

Forcing us to spend more😅. Don't like the idea. There's no live streaming on the app as well for either channels. Hbo by itself was okay now we're forced to spend more because of discovery. They definitely going to lose a lot subscribers because of this change!
