People on here criticizing her for having a dirty stovetop.... well she has to show you that her method works, she's not gonna use a nearly clean stove. She's trying to help people and ya'll are out here judging her. What's wrong with you people?!

If you don't have a dirty stovetop why are you in the first place or you just like watching random videos. Please give her the credit she deserves and stop criticizing everything. Good job Lady ☺️

Anyone who has one of those knows, how absolutely terrible they are and how easily all of the oil, etc accumulate on the glass, even after cleaning it right away after each use! Thanks for that tip, I will certainly try.

This really helped, thank you 🙏 I used a Scrub Mummy sponge instead of the scouring pad, which is less abrasive but still scrubs well. Thanks for uploading the video. I'm a 50 Yr old woman with no life skills who would be lost without these videos 😊

Baking soda and vinegar worked for me much better than couple of other cooktop cleaners I tried. Couple of keys to success: let baking soda and vinegar compound soak for 30 minutes; use a sharp razor blade scraper. I went through 2 blades for 4 burner tops.

YIKES 😳 WARNING:

Do NOT do this! NEVER use any kind of wire scrubber, on your glass top! You WILL ruin it!

A green scotch bright scrubbie is even a bit harsh (can create fine scratching, which builds up over time, and slowly destroys your glass top), but even a green scotch brite scrubbie is a million times safer than any kind of metal scrubbie.

Your best bet is a brand new flat razor, in the case of stuck on as for boiled on milk spills and such, vinegar and baking soda are best used SEPARATELY.... Vinegar does NOT activate baking soda, in fact, it deactivates it, because Baking Soda is highly alkaline, and Vinegar is highly acidic. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Go first with baking soda, a little water, and some blue Dawn Soap.. smear it on as a paste, and give it at LEAST 10 minutes to do its work, and break stuff down. After that, use a non scratch scrubby, to clean scrub out the surface with your mildly abrasive paste...

AFTER cleaning with baking soda, wipe dry, and spray down with vinegar + a squirt of blue Dawn dish let that sit for another 5-10 minutes, and repeat the scrubbing process.

Do not ever use any form of metal scrubby on your glass all the advice here, is a bit of a mess (I don’t want to be rude, but we also don’t want people destroying their glass tops.)

Everyone freaking about the scrubber, I have the fine one and scrub my whole weight on top of the stove and it didn’t scratch. It was the only way to remove the stains. I used the glass stove top solution it’s white thick paste forgot what it’s called, then scrub with that. There’s steel wool made for these types of surfaces you just need to get the correct one

2:54 I wouldn't use that scrubber. Especially if you live in a rented apartment and it's not your hob. DON'T use that. Here is what the manual of my V-Zug hob says:
"Always clean the hob after use. This prevents food residues from burning on.
Dried-on or burned-on food residue is harder to clean off.
Use of improper cleaning techniques can result in damage to the markings
or surface.

Avoid cleaning the surface of the glass ceramic hob with abrasive
cleaning agents, scouring pads, wire wool, etc. which can damage the
surface.

Use only a soft cloth or sponge with water and a suitable detergent for
cleaning everyday soiling. Always follow the detergent manufacturer's
instructions for use. Using a detergent with a protective additive is
recommended"

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT use that scrubber unless you want to completely ruin your stove top... it will leave scratches, I couldn’t even finish watching this video knowing you all are going to ruin your stove you are just trying to clean

For those saying she's not doing it right and that it's all wrong....she's not. Calm down and try it out first before you come on here and giving false info and criticism. I tried this on my mom's stove top when I dropped and burnt a TON of milk on it while it was hot and it was HORRIBLE. I knew she was gonna kill me if she saw it (and she actually did and was NOT happy). She was VERY confident there was no way I could get it all out cuz she has always had a hard time getting it all off. I promised I will and when I found this video IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM!!! This was AMAZING and the stovetop looked even better than it was new!! SHE was even surprised and now this is what we use anytime the stovetop is dirty. Stop being rude and just try it and do it right.

I'm going to give this another try. I tried it years ago and it didn't work but like you said I may have to try it for several days. Thank you so much.

I use bicarbonate soda, and a lemon 🍋 put the soda all over you're cooker top then squeeze lemon juice over the soda and rub the lemon over it, clean it off with a microfiber cloth, kitchen paper can scratch you're cooker top, I saw this on YouTube, and it works

I'm with you by using the baking soda and white vinegar but the wire scrubber freaked me out. My cooker is brand new, there's no way we should be using a wire scrubber on it, After a while you will have tiny scratches all over it and it'll only get harder and harder to clean. Anyway, it's your tutorial and I do appreciate most of the tips. Thank you.

Better, but definitely not completely clean. Still looks burned to me. I also cringed when you started scrubbing it with a metal scrubber.

I used a green scratch pad sponge instead of steel wool, worked great.

All these mean comments are completely unnecessary! It looks much better then before! I’d like to recommend the razor scrapper too. It’s a razor blade but has an attachment to make the razor easier to handle. The razor helps to remove the stick on residue! Thanks for the video and I appreciate the way you handled the mean people! Good work!
