I'm glad I'm not the only one who uses the yellow easy off. I clean nightly rentals and am always amazed at how quickly these cook tops get nasty with burnt on food.

I did the baking soda vinegar with no luck. So I did wd40, no luck. Then I did baking soda and vinegar again and it just wiped off!! Yaaay!

Number one you don’t use Windex number two you don’t use oven cleaner. It’s too harsh on the stove top and then you will be breathing chemicals and it’s near your food. Sounds like cancer to me. Also use fiber optic towel to wipe paper towels are course. Best thing is baking soda with dish soap. Let’s sit on overnight make it a little wet put a plastic wrap over it and let it sit overnight.

But then when you cook again, you're heating all that chemical residue and then breathing it in (not to mention it's near your food).
