These were $280 during the drop. $600 from secondary market is crazy. Even at $280 I didn’t bother to buy a box, not a fan of the airbrushed jerseys. I did buy my lottery ticket for the lebron, curry, Durant 1/1. Bought 5, so 5/580, 030 odds. 😂

Why is everyone chasing a Wemby auto from this set? There are Bowman 1st autos, Bowman Best, Topps Now, and most of them have proper team jerseys. I do not understand

There’s no way a product like that should be that expensive and it’s all because like you said capitalizing on the Wemby signature. In all honesty, those should be what the trick-or-treat packs are with that crappy background.

100% on your level with this. I'm mostly a basketball collector, and a Topps fan. But this set just bad, and somewhat discouraging for the future. I understand wanting to have their own flagship Wemby card so that they can have 'throwback' varieties over the years. But why not take a page of one of Panini's only good ideas and have a small checklist release like Prizm Monopoly instead? Maybe even mix it with unlicensed football with only rookies and superstars to have a larger checklist. They wouldn't have made as much money, but anything is better than this.
