Free to play mobile gaming is cancer. It had such potential, but now it’s just a place where the fun act of gaming is distorted solely to turn a profit. There’s minimal love put into the games, so it’s akin to sports games. Most of the games are out to take advantage of their customers.

I have a theory. One time I saw a spike in youtubers doing a "joke" sponsorship of raid, where they start to say it, then show a pic, then cut to something different, it's edgy.
But I think Raid's publisher actually paid for those little "joke" mentions. there was like 6 of these Raid "joke" sponsorships in a week. they were all blatantly obvious, and the same format.
it actually made me more mad than a full-on raid sponsorship

As someone who played the game for around 7 months and spent around $100 during that time, I would say you're absolutely correct on everything you've brought up. I don't harbor any grudge against the game, but while it is playable with little to no monetary investment, it's very clear that the game is meant to attract and engage gamblers first and foremost. The way the developers resisted adding any kind of stable forms of rewards or progression made this very clear. The people at the top of the corporate ladder can only be described as the scum of the Earth, and a pox on humanity. Thanks for making the video, I always thought that gaming YouTubers would be interested in the subject.

here's the thing: I'm actually super okay with casino style/gambling games, so long as they are adequately regulated and are required to disclose the nature of their business.
If I want to waste my hard earned money on a shitty game, that's my right as a gamer, but it's also my right as a citizen to know which games are virtual casinos and which aren't.
