Don't criticize the developers? No, criticize management that approves such. Better known to some as corporate politics. The developers have to put forth a lot of effort paying attention to detail when designing the tanks for gameplay. While developers must go by actual historic footage, management comes in and starts fudging on things like actual reload time or damaged a tank can take before being destroyed. Take for instances the Marder II. In reality, the tank only took 7 seconds to reload at a casual pace. Not the 12-13 seconds management decided on instead. As for the KV-2, it goes without saying if one has read about the tank. In reality, it took 4-5 minutes to reload. But it was corporate politics that lowered it from 1007 and to 988; as if the tank was not easy enough to destroy do to its long reload time. No I wouldn't criticize the developers either.
