Wrist Tendonitis Symptoms Basics - The Actual Causes

That wrist pain/wrist tendon pain is not the 'site of the problem', is not the problem, is not a problem. That pain is just symptom of a larger dynamic.

Wrist and wrist tendon pain, tightness, 'weakness', ache, spasm/twitch, these are all symptoms of of wrist tendonitis.

1. Understand that the symptoms, and the spot where it hurts, are not the problem.
2. Understand that there are factors that are CAUSING those symptoms and that spot of pain.
3. Be wary of doctors and other professionals that don't understand 1 and 2, as evidenced by their focusing on 'the problem' that is really just a symptom. i.e. focusing on the tendon, telling you you have a tendon problem, etc (if you have a rip or tear, that changes the conversation of course, but even then, the rip/tear is a symptom of a larger problem).
4. Understand that to fix the problem and get rid of the symptoms, one has to get rid of the factors that are the problem/are causing the problem/are causing the symptoms.

Its so annoying. Inner wrist, ring finger flexor tendon, hurts only when I extend my hand fully or the skin on my inner forearm is pulled/tightened, and its a real painful burning feeling just in that region. I put a wrap around my wrist, of anything just to remind me not to make the motions that trigger it, but the compression seems to help a bit with the pain when I still forget anyway. It's such an annoying affliction, right up there with ear infection, sore throat, and canker sores. The 4 horsemen of the apocalypse.

My thumb is also involved now. I had dequervains and it went into remission after I found PT exercises—-the only thing that helped. But Now The thumb mcp joints hurts….

Stretching my wrist only makes the pain worse. It becomes extremely sore the next day and I haven't had any success with it. I have limited range of motion in my left wrist, and I've had to cease all gym activities that strain my wrist. So, I've had this injury for 10 months since I injured it in the gym. I worked through it hoping the pain would eventually subside yet here we are 10 months later. So I'm wearing a brace unsure if that's a good strategy at all. The brace is there to prevent me from straining my wrist.

So, I take fish oil and glucosamine to reduce inflammation and make sure I eat healthy most of the time to overcome any "nutritional deficiencies." The only factor left is as you say tight muscles/ structures. Would that mean my left forearm is tight? And I assume myofascial release would relax my forearm over time?

I can't tell if my wrist has microtears, indicating I have tendonosis or chronic tendonitis where my wrist is always inflamed. My forearm doesn't necessarily feel tight, but that may just be manifesting as wrist pain when bending it. What do you think?

Hi! Four questions...

1. Can wrist/hand tendonitis cause sharp pain and "resistance" in the fingers? For example, when I make a tight fist and point with my index finger, I feel a sharp, painful resistance when I try to lift it up. The pain often spreads across my other fingers or down the wrist on the palm side. I feel the same pain in all fingers when I pull up on pants and socks, open doors, etc. When I'm in bed I can't even pull my blanket up to my chin. I'm not sure what's going on here... It's not osteoarthritis (been tested for that). I assume it's related to overuse/repetitiveness of my job (gripping/pulling), but I stopped that activity a couple months ago and haven't found much info on the resistance thing.

2. Can this condition cause morning stiffness and tightness in the fingers? When I wake up in the mornings, I can't close my hand all the way, and have to run hot water over it to loosen it. Then my fingers feel tingly and tight, as if they're swelling. My thumb is affected the worst; it's always stiff, tight, hypersensitive to touch, and burning. Sometimes I can't do a "thumbs up" or touch my thumb to my pinky finger. It's not De Quervain's... My wrist does not hurt when I test for that (and the cortisone shot didn't help anyway).

3. Can this possibly be related to tennis below? I developed it from pulling down on a lever repeatedly at work. The pain is much better now, but I still feel it now and then. My hand/finger pain developed spontaneously, about 2-3 weeks after that diagnosis, but I wonder if they could still be related...

4. My other symptoms: tightness at the back of my hand/wrist (especially while my elbow is bent), inability to extend my wrist back fully, unable to put pressure on hand or wrist, and inability to bear heavy weight. Nothing heavier than a tall glass of water. Does this sound like tendonitis?

Outside of my left wrist around ulnar my popping sound whilst doing weights a week ago. Stopped using it for exercise but it's so sore and appears to be tendinitis.

Hi, Joshua. I have developed Tendonitis dynamics in my right wrist after wearing plaster cast for 2 months, two years ago. The symptoms have just abruptly appeared since this year. My bone is fully recovered. Your opinion, what has happened to me? My flexibility is still very good compared to my left forearm.

Hello Mr Joshua, I don't want to get to details because I am going to write an essay. I had wrist injuries (tendons ecu both wrists) during my workout for years ago. I also injured my shoulders. Fast forward 4 years later I have no damage in tendons but I have pain in forearms trigger points tightness etc. At times I reversed the symptoms for some days weeks but the symptoms came back due to stressful conditions etc.
I think that the pain system has been sensitized or having CRPS.
What do think?

I use a computer on my tv in the living room. I use a keyboard and mouse on my coffee table. If I don’t have carpal tunnel or tendinitis call me Wolverine. I just thought I’d feel pain before i got it. But it kinda just creeped up on me. Is that common?

Hello, I've been dealing with wrist pain for years. When I make a big effort not to use my wrist and to ice it, the pain subsides for the most part. However, I have been unable to do something like a push-up, or a plank for years because I can't bend my wrist in that direction without a lot of pain (& when I have tried to do this my wrist flairs back up and hurts constantly for weeks again - until I stop using it and ice it). Is this tendonitis, or another issue? Thank you!

I will be honest.
Your website looks incredibly dodgy, like the UI and formatting of it is straight out of 2003.
You go to the 3 factors constantly. Tightness, Inflamation and Nutritional Insufficiency. Yet you are not willing to share them without selling the information. Maybe that is fair.
I can find no reviews of you online other than your website. (Yes I have seen your testimonials on your website, but can find no mention of you elsewhere on the internet). Your videos have the likes and dislike hidden.

You claim to have this hidden knowledge of solving the issue that no PT, Osteopath, Doctor and so on has figured out. Yet, there are no third party sources to corroborate this.
If I did want to purchase one of your resources, why should I? When I have zero confidence that you are in anyway legitimate.
