Umm....When I try installing, it says that the device is armv7I and it requires a x64 or 86 ??

Is this still available from NVidia? I have a now-ancient Jibo robot I'd like to repurpose into a less cloud-dependent beast, since Jibo's servers shut down after the third vendor in 2023 (I learned my lesson about not buying hardware that depends on the cloud for its main function)

Jibo has an NVidia Jetson TK1 inside.

I realize this is a really old video but here I am many years later with a TK1 board and a VM of Ubuntu 14.04 trying to reflash my Nvidia TK1 board. I have the board plugged into my host, the Ubuntu VM can see the board. I've downloaded jetpack 2.0. When I run the installer and the component manager pops up and syas "downloading manifestfile" but doesn't populate with any data and eventually it pops up with an error. The jetpack log syas "06-21 07:38:27.8 E: fopen failed, errno = 2". Appreciate any help you can provide.

In my jetson tk1 Ethernet and wifi is not working and mac address is shown as 00:00:00:00:00:00, after flashing my tk1 from using terminal of host pc. please help

JetPack 2.2.1 installed, thanks to your tutorial! There are few things that have been updated and simplified since you made your video but it's still on-point. Question: After JetPack finished installing, how do you launch the samples? I can see a samples folder but not sure how to launch them.

Should the host system necessarily have an nvidia graphics card to indirectly support the installation of Jetpack onto the TK1?
My host system is Ubuntu 14.04 on a MacBook Pro that has Intel HD 4000 graphics card.

Thank you so much for posting this! I’m building an autonomous vehicle for my masters project. My system is running on 16.04. My question is will the installation work on Ubuntu 16.04 or do I need to downgrade to 14.04? Not seeing positive advice on this option so I figured I’d ask before I try.

Thanks for the video. I do have a questions regarding flashing the Tk1 board. I have no computer network knowledge at all. I have an internet outlet under my office desk, so If I connect a router to the internet outlet down there and connect both my PC and the TK1 board to the router. Would it be the same network set up as yours? Also, I am running the host system through VirtualBox, would it be an issue? thanks in advance

So, the ethernet switch is just for sharing internet connection, and the only time ubuntu host pc connects & transfers to the Tk1 is when the micro usb is connected? I'm just waiting on fixing my laptop and installing ubuntu, so I can upgrade my TK1 (R19, Rev 2.0). It's so frustrating setting up a usable Tk1 from the get-go, but that's why it's a 'development kit' - something to develop :)

I was running into trouble getting high-level GUIs from OpenCV to display (even the demo pieces, both pre-compiled, and build-on-machine). I just re-flashed using JetPack 2.0. I am still narrowing down culprits for what caused the issues with OpenCV, but I haven't ruled out some linux 14.04 update somewhere. Do you think it would be a good idea to disable Linux updates, or would it be a waste of time?

Would like to know if JetPack 2.0 is like a linux based OS and also if you are able to play games on it as well because i would like to turn this into like an arcade like machine thing if you sort of know what i mean.

thank you. Can jetpack be installed on Ubuntu 12.04.5 or only Ubuntu 14.04. I got some errors cannot download the metalink therefore the ISO when installing Ubuntu 14.04 so I decided to install ver.12.04.5
can I expect some good results as yours?
