Our planet needs the Aptera. No matter how it is produced, if this change brings it to market sooner all the better. I am a reservation holder and I'm not discouraged at all.

Correction to the narrative of this video. Aptera will NOT have Apple Car Play in the Launch Addition

I hope the hub motor does come later. I do think going with tried and true tech to get off the ground makes the most sense.

I believe Aptera Company made the right decision to go with the inboard motor. I wasn’t comfortable with the hub motors even though I reserved one about a year ago.

Here is a question. If there is no power, can the car be pull/pushed with the new permanent battery motors? Or are the wheels locked?

Hub mothers are the solid state battery or the fusion energy of motors. I’m sure they will be superior technology employed in mass production someday in the future. (Then again, maybe not!) Waiting for hub motors to go to market is like not implementing solar and batteries because you’re waiting for fusion energy and solid state batteries. We don’t have time to wait around for the most beautifully efficient design to save the planet. We have to use the tools available right now.

I have absolutely no problem with fwd only.
The only concerns I have are with battery life and battery safety.
Nobody has addressed this yet. Aptera is the only EV vehicle that I'm interested in.

For SC disease, give the boy healthy adult male facial skin surface lipid pheromone. Take off aversive volatiles first however. Follow with a swallow of wine.

Hub motor is the only motor for the front part.
Aptera Wins delay
First start ended with bankrupcy
Time goes goes and still no aptera
It will become critical

The three wheeler should be à four wheeler, with much more place in the boot.
The form of the egg is on of the best

Kind of a deal breaker for me. Hub motors were one of my favorite features of the original Apterra design, since they dramatically reduce the complexity of the drive train, not just through power transmission, but also cooling and braking as well. Plus, since it's conventional front wheel drive now, it comes with all the problems associated with that. I wish them the best, and hope in the long run we can get back to the ideal design at some point.

Aptera should have been pragmatic 4 years ago. Being indecisive and inept is what they are.
