On our way back from Virginia to Alabama. we decided to stay in another tiny house in TN. This one is a custom individual build, not made by a typical manufacturer. It is not in a large community like the Grove, the Beach, the Forest, etc. like Incredible Tiny Homes has in Tiny Towne.

Thanks for your support! Please like, share and subscribe and leave us a comment with your thoughts of anything we discuss in this tour.

I couldn’t use a loft! They wouldn’t be bad for young people. I do love the idea of tiny houses.

I can’t crawl on my knees with my knee pain and I have to go to the bathroom at night. I can’t imagine coming down the stairs so many times

At my age, absolutely no loft! Can't say that I like that tiny. The divided kitchen is not a favorite of mine ITH has a model named Miss Louanne or something like that that I really like.

I always love your walk-throughs. Full of great observations especially for older folks in this case. Love that in-sink dishwasher, that was brilliant. I’ve been following the tiny house in movement for years and years. Although there are still many design kinks to get out of them with the limited floor space, etc., tiny houses are definitely improving

I say no loaf sleeping! Had a knee replacement a year ago.

I love how spacious this one looks There are a few things I think I would change. As I am getting older I do not think I could do the crouch and climb with those stairs! I would close in the stair case and loft area a little more so it would be safer when having grandkids over. I would not use that loft area as a primary sleeping area. I feel it would be better for guests and extra storage. I feel like instead of the futon to have some kind of bed, maybe a captains bed, where the futon is. It would give extra storage and could still be used as a day bed. I don't know, just my opinion. Love your videos and tours of tiny homes.

I use LOTS of little night lights that are all rechargeable & motion activated, so none of my house is ever totally dark. (Yes, I'm into lights!😅)

Yes, the railing is cool. I'm only 44, and all my joints are a hot mess, my knees are not good or my back!

Love it except for second door. Wasted space could be used better.

I would never sleep in a log at my age with two new knees. Must have a downstairs bedroom.

Yes, the railing should be on the other side.

if they hadn’t painted stairs, all wood, but let’s make sure you draw attention to Stairs are wrong all the way around!

Nice home, but it needs a railing on the outside, and I'd have to keep a pee jug upstairs. :)

They sell that Fotile 2 in 1 In Sink Dishwasher at Lowes. I ❤ it!!! 😊

You made the choice to stay in a Incred-a box so you should have expected a very tiny space. ITH has a HUGE variety of shape & sizes to choose from. You should have explored more on ITH different homes to stay in. Apparently what you stayed in was too small for you & your wife.

Tiny lofts w/limited headroom are a problem at every age if you get injured, sick (especially stomach flu), or if you have any mobility issues, including just needing glasses. They're bad for toddlers and young kids who can fall off. They're bad for dogs.

Could not agree more about the railing on the wall being a hazard. It's such basic common sense, it's hard to imagine builders don't see it?

Tiny homes for living really need to be at least 24 feet long so you can have sleeping space on the main level.

On an unrelated note, on November 1, some residents of The Forest and ITP got eviction notices and have to be out in 29 days. As much as I like some of their homes, this is why I refuse to pay their "key money" fees or sign their contracts. These residents were completely blindsided by this, as they were sent leases a few months back, and then told to *hold off signing* them because ITP was (supposedly) "rewriting the contract". Well, SURPRISE! They didn't rewrite the contract, they evicted some of the residents. So unbelievably duplicitous, and this isn't the first time they've been caught in lies, sadly (which is what prompted me to cancel my order last December 1).

This is why I refuse to buy a home from ITH. They have shown themselves to be such untrustworthy business people.
