It wasn't an individual award when curry won it in 2015 while he had good teammates and harden only had a injured dwight AND led the team to a 2 seed IN THE WEST

Why are some people so reluctant to give Harden the award? He's the mvp this year no question.

Harden is actually flirting with "Unanimous MVP" territory.

in 2015 harden had way better stats than curry and curry got mvp because his team had more wins. fair. then in 2017 hardens team had WAY more wins and westbrook got mvp because he had better stats. Give the guy some credit

Anthony Davis?? What about LeBron?
What argument can you make that Davis is in any way having a better season than LeBron? LeBron's team situation has certainly been WORSE than Davis', with Kyrie going, the new players not adapting, a bad coach etc. Stats? How about the whole of 2017? LeBron was WAY above Davis in stats. What about overall value?

There is no reasonable argument to be made that Davis is more deserving of MVP than LeBron.
And I believe that Harden is more deserving of MVP than LeBron, if only because of the consistency that he offers his team.

Come on, Max...

He'll win it this year 100%. Possibly even unanimously, although the voters have a history of being imbecile (Lebron 2013 etc.).

He should've won it last year as well. The fact that Westbrook won it over him is a disgrace for basketball. Houston was playing beautifully after Harden's transformation to PG last year and they won a lot more games than OKC. The triple doubles are overrated and Harden's 29/8/11 was just as impressive as Westbrook's 30/10/10. People are just obsessed with round numbers which is disgusting. Harden had the better season overall, and I'd even say Kawhi was more deserving than Westbrook as well. You suround a superstar PG with good role players and let him have the ball 50% of the time - stats will come. And all the rebounds are solely because Steven adams is boxing out instead of grabbing them himself.

After this year, OKC would've drafted 3 MVP's and 3 scoring champions in 3 consecutive years. What might've been...

OKC will look back and said we drafted 3 MVP superstars. Yeah, and you can also said you choked and got swept so bad the team split lol

🗣🗣Harden should’ve won mvp 3 of last 4 yrs.

GUARANTEE if Lebron was on the rockets n put up the same exact numbers harden has these last 4 yrs They would give him mvp every time smh. Media bias ruined this award
