Quantum mechanics is a subcategory of physics. Slimming down on the topic, this video focuses on the quantization of energy. In this video, the Bohr model, the photoelectric effect, and several mathematical equations relating to the quantization of energy will be discussed.

I have always been interested in quantum mechanics, while my peers have always been quite iffy about it because they don't understand it. As an attempt to help others understand the basics of quantum mechanics, I made this video in a way that even someone with little scientific knowledge can understand, which is the ultimate goal of science.

A great video! But a slight correction - The number of electrons ejected per sec or the rate of ejection of electrons will not depend upon the frequency of the photons incident on the metal surface but it will depend upon ONLY the intensity of light carrying the photons.

The area under the curve usually represent energy. A bucked field naturally progresses to quantum like progression.

The area under the curve represents the energy in the system.

The sheet of material represents a field with the ends bounded.

Seeing the mechanical effect may takes some of the mystery of what the math for your students.
