I tried CO-OPing a nation with the AI.

The AI in EU4 isn't the greatest. Today, we test that out as I try to team up with the AI on EU4 Naples. THere exists no EU4 guide for this, no EU4 tutorial we can turn to, but we'll see if we can take on EU4 Aragon and form EU4 Italy... or even maybe the EU4 two sicilies along the way. Join me as I take on an eu4 challenge I have no intentions of ever repeating.

I think the main problem that the AI faced in the early game was player warmongering, honestly. Players, especially decent and above ones, pick fights that both aren’t historically accurate behaviour-wise and which seem suicidal. Rather than trying to stabilize in that war, the AI peaced out - but with their debt it didn’t feel safe so didn’t take independence.

Or Naples just didn’t feel like winning today. Who knows. Paradox AI is in another realm.

what i do is play with one nation for 30 years then switch to another nation play for another thirty years and see what the AI does with the previous nation, and repeat . its much more interesting than sticking with one nation.

Update: it has been nearly 12 days since the last Laith upload. I can feel myself slipping without my daily dose of Laith’s dulcet tones in my ears. At the current rate, I can feel my sanity flatline within the week

I had something similar one time. But it was multiplayer we were both playing the same nation and when my friend left i had an option to Allow AI to control and i did. You should to... it'll be great

15:28 Sicilly is occupied by Naples, suddenly they peace out, there is a cut and 2 second later we are back in different date and war icon in bottom right corner appeared again i don't mind but kinda what's the point with save-scumming.
