That isn't cringey anymore, but straight up disgusting. Danny's anticipation of something happening sexually or physically between him and his potential adoptive daughter (!) makes me want to vomit. Whoever thought that it's a good idea to make a show with someone who's obviously a stone's throw away from being a predator should not be in charge of any show. Glad it got cancelled. I hope Christy finds a way to get out of this clearly abusive marital relationship.

Let’s not forget that Ileana even publicly stated in one of the episodes that she only is doing this because she is pregnant and was facing homelessness in her native country. So Danny isn’t just taking advantage of a young woman and creating a dangerous power dynamic - he’s also purposely exploiting someone who is doing what she can to just survive and raise her baby in a safe environment.
