Some Cambodian parents and students themselves nowadays give more value to higher education, and continue to treat vocational training as the second choice. Should this mindset be changed?

“I think we have recently overlooked the importance of skill trainings. Some people have higher education, but sometimes it doesn’t mean they have the right skills for the right tasks. Sometimes, vocational training is somehow better than master degree or higher education. It depends on some type of jobs and what we want to value,” Mr. Thea Kimheng argues.
