I've been wanting to reconnect my portable harddrive for my PS4 games, but I keep hearing that there could be issues with extended storage leading it to be wiped if used. Do you know of this or have any reservations about connecting yours?

The external SSD to put PS4 titles is a must, probably about $50 for a 2TB option. I looked into the external SSD requirements for PS5 games and currently it isn't supported but in the future it will probably happen. There is one catch though, that future PS5 external SSD will have to run off the USB-C port...what's bad about that is the only USB-C is the one in the front of the console so be ready to always see a cord sticking out the front of the console.

1:45 To get the 60 fps on games like Days Gone, Ghosts of Tsushima etc, YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE THE GAMES INSTALLED ON THE PS5 SSD. Save room, keep them on your external...sure they will load slower but it saves you room.
