i think demo has the lowest skill ceiling


you can just place stickies on a door then right click when people walk through it

I like you. And I love your content. But you made the concept of floors and ceilings way to hard to understand for people new to this concept.

A skill ceiling. Is just how much power that class has the potential have in a game.

A skill floor is how little a power you can have in a game.

We have the assumption that skill is related to how much power you have in a game. (it's mostly but not entirely. You have other factors like how good the other team is. )


So skill floors is kind of a silly concept. Because you never intend to play badly. And that's what's required to ever reach a skill floor.


Rather you should talk about the skill cieling of someone just picking up a class for the first time. (new to the game). And that is a better measure of how easy a class is.

For example when you start the game the skill ceiling for playing spy. Your potential to have an effect in the match is really low. Because spy is hard to play. I.e. he's not easy.

Whereas what the skill ceiling i.e. what is your potential capped at for playing medic. And that is quite high. Thus easier to play. Requires less skill to achieve th same effectiveness as playing spy.
