I have a question. I currently have an Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology. I will be taking my Rhit in February 2025 and after that I will take the CCS again.

I just got my foot in the door as a patient access representative at a hospital.

I also reviewed AHIMAS salary guide chart and I also know that location plays a role but How do I avoid being shortchanged in my salary? I've been on 5 interviews this year, and when it came to salary discussion, it's literally tug of war. It gets really frustrating. How much should I expect?
