I'm a Catholic aspiring dentist but I admire how much you prioritize your faith in a stressful environment, inspires me to do the same

Shout out to you Moaaz who eventually passed your 1st year of dental school, mabrouk. Me myself been through this for about 5 years now. Honestly, tons of guilt taking this major because I have no idea of what dentistry truly is about. Completely in a blank situation when I chose it. Time flies by the way, alhamdulillah, four years had been spent on the bachelor’s degree and now, been a year in the clinical stage. Hopefully, Allah facilitate me to graduate soon hahaha. The second year of the clinical stage will start at the end of this year. I genuinely cannot wait for the day when my oath will be taken. And I hope you so. No matter how unbelievably harsh dental school is, please keep moving forward, stay firm, and be steadfast till you arrive at some point when you praise Allah that you already finished it and you realise that you are no longer the same person. You are getting better, getting stronger, more mature, and developing all positive things as much as you possibly can, Insha Allah. Through hard times, Allah creates strong generations. Biidhnillah. Yassarallahu lak wanafaallahu bikal umma!

Absolutely love the video. I am applying to dental school this cycle and I absolutely love your mentality toward the future, your current academic stress and how to balance life. Thankful for people like you that are in the field, because it shows people like me that I can actually do this, and while not easy that anything is possible through hard work and determination. Hope this past term treated you well and wish you the best. God be with you.

Applying this cycle and honestly this whole process is so stressful. First thing you over come the DAT then you have to apply with all these ECs so you can stand out. Now it’s the waiting game and questioning if you’d even get in this cycle. Most of my friends in dental school do say it is a real slap in the face. And you mentioning that you barely see your friends I can 100% relate to since my friends in dental school are now non existent allah yihmeehum ya rab. But I am also trying to have the mindset that Allah is rewarding me with this and it’s a privilege to be offered this career. Keep me in your duas akhi inshallah the cycle will go easy

This video resonates so much! I remember having those lows at university too but it is all about finding creative solutions to problems and just getting any help you can, from anywhere or anyone you can. Someday you notice things just getting better

How did you know you wanted to study this, because I love everything. Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, STEM, physics, but also languages and philosophy (sociology etc.). I genuinely love studying Alhamdulillah, because a lot of people struggle with it. I am currently studying mathematical science (High school, Belgium) I am going into my 5th year (there are 6 years in HS) and I genuinely don’t know what I want to study when I get into university . And also I agree, yes knowledge is fardh but so is taking care of your mental, spiritual and physical health. You can’t just throw your life away because of school, that’s one of my biggest challenges, but I have tawakkul. May Allah help us all.

This gave me tons of insight as a high school student looking forward to study dentisry in the future. You really laminated the fact that this career is not easy nor will it be easy and it not about luck either, but true hard work and perseverance that sales the boat! im average i dont consider myself smart or intelligent or even studious; but when it comes to hard work im dedicated and "where there is a will there will always be a way" therefore, i am very gratefull for this piece of advise and the acknowledgement i got out of it. I am muslim and even when my faith is on edge i know with trusting allah azah wajal- he is the best of planners and sufficers. الحمدالله ❤
