Given the multidisciplinary character of the project, basic knowledge from different scientific fields are expected from the candidate. He/she should have:

• Master degree in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Nanotechnology or equivalent.
• basic knowledge on the synthetic methods of polymer micro/nanoparticles.
• Some experience in characterization techniques of micro/nanomaterials such as electron microscopy
• Basic experience/knowledge in the synthesis of organic molecules and characterization through infrared (IR), nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR), mass spectrometry.
• Previous experience in experimental research project (e.g. master final year project).
• Motivation and responsibility
• Team-working attitude.

It will be very positively evaluated if the candidate has also basic knowledge of absorption and fluorescence spectroscopies. Acceptable spoken and written English skills are recommended.
