i am reading interesting facts about space currently and it’s SO great. emily austin also has a new release coming out this month that looks great. her writing is sharp and hilarious, i’d recommend keeping it!!

I definitely appreciate your unhauls because it helps me narrow down which backlist books I actually want to prioritize. It’s always possible that I will have a different reading experience, but if you’re telling me a book is “meh” or that you didn’t like it enough to reread, that is honestly so helpful to me. 😆

Agree with pretty much everything but the GASP I GASPED when you held up Priory! Totally a matter of taste but I personally LOVED those books (and am excited for the new short novel)!

Weyward was an amazing book, especially with each story about women. The Book of Doors was amazing too. The Mystery of Time I did DNF. The journey I need to check out would be perfect for my collection. Happy New Year!

Interesting Facts About Space was one of my least favorite books last year, so I don't think you're missing anything by unhauling that one, lol. I did love The Ministry of Time because it hit all the right buttons for me, but I completely understand why it's had some polarizing reviews.
As for Red, White, and Royal Blue, I know it was written as more of a post-2016 wish-fulfillment type of thing and it very much became a comfort read of mine for a few years. But right now I don't think I can stomach that kind of hope even though I did love the romance, so my copy is safely tucked away in a back row of my shelf 😅

I didn't think of RWB that way, but i listened to it, and it was just so cute. I read it near/on the 4th of july. It was kind of fun that way. The audio book is the better option though, i think if i read it, then i wouldn't last. But it was funny and adorable.

oh no, I bought the physical 'The Games Gods Play' and already I'm struggling with the writing style. I need to finish the book but so sad I didn't do further research before purchasing. Wish I bought on my kindle instead :( . lel
I am interested in Red Rising but again, best to buy book 1 on kindle just to be safe ahaha.

Don’t feel bad about Ministry of Time. It is BARELY sci fi, mainly slice of life and a confusing messy plot line that is poorly done. The more time that passes after I finished it, the more I dislike it.
