If you decide to do this a second time, here are some recommendations:
-Otap (flaky puff biscuits)
-Puto (rice cakes)
-Polvoron (shortbread cookies)
-Ube ice cream and mango ice cream

That Langka candy was so nostalgic. When I was a kid, I always keep some of my money afterclass to buy that from the convinience store along my way home.

FUN FACT: It also has that Jackfruit with ube(water yam) flavor and its way better than jackfruit only.

I'm actually surprised that Filipinos also have Chicharrones! It's really common here in Venezuela! We also have a snack version that is basically corn puffs with Chicharron powder, doesn't taste the same but is a better option when you aren't close to someone who makes the real thing!

We also have sweets made out of Tamarind! When you pulled one of those gummies, I said to myself "Oh boy, I hope they are prepared for this!". You should try Tamarind juice someday!

This is my first time commenting even though I have been watching your videos for almost a year haha. Your content is amazing! I wish you and Miss Bacons the best!

I'm a fan of your channel :)

fun fact, the factory where the "Ricoa" cocoa was made is along a main road in the Philippines, whenever you will pass through that you will know since the rich cocoa/chocolatey smell will enter your car haha!

As a white guy who is married to a Filipina I can attest that there are plenty of Filipino snacks that are great like Fudgee bars, Nagaraya, Halo Halo or Taron to name a few. You really want your mind blown, try some of the !

Personally, I've been using DOLE Pineapple Juice to marinate my steak in (usually an hour).

As silly as it sounds, it actually works quite well as it not only makes the steak extra tender, it adds a distinctive flavor to it (make sure to "wash off" the extra juice before cooking). :D

I'm lactose intolerant so SkyFlakes has and will always be my favourite cracker brand. Even my Chinese parents who don't like eating crackers has eaten a lot of them and dunk them in coffee 👌

I love Boy Bawang. And Cracker Nuts (garlic flavored).

Also: Pik-Nik potato sticks are an American brand. I guess Filipinos like that snack a lot?
