How to do Gyroscopic Flop Yoyo Trick

It is a fun toy for kids and adults that is great for even the most professional yoyo tricks.
The Gyroscopic Flop yoyo trick is a technique where the yoyo flips over on its axis. It is a good trick to learn off the Plastic Whip yoyo trick.

Both are great options. If you are interested in having a metal yoyo I suggest you go with the Dash Players Pack, otherwise stick with the Whip Players Pack. In my experience both yoyos will last you a long time, and both play great for the price. You really can't go wrong either way.

The Velocity should be able to take you quite far. However, if you feel that you really need an upgrade I would suggest either the Dark Magic 2 or the DV888, but are very great options for the price, and we have them both on YoTricks. If you live in the US they both include free shipping as well.

When the yoyo flips over one half turn during the flop it also makes the yoyo spin the opposite direction (relatively speaking). This means that you will need to bind on the opposite side of the string.

I would say they are both a 7. I would recommend the DM2 if it is your first yoyo over $20 because it is a little wider and a little more versatile than the DV888. If you really are interested in going for a metal yoyo, however, the DV888 is a great option. The finish on the yoyo is great for grinding as well, which is not so true of the DM2.

A technical trick is any trick that is complicated, challenging to perform, and as a lot of different string hits.

To get a yoyo to sleep longer on the string you need to make sure that the strings are not touching the sides of the yoyo. If the strings are touching the sides of the yoyo it will kill the spin very quickly. As long as you are keeping the strings straight in line with the groove of the yoyo you will find that the yoyo can sleep just as long on the string as it can off the string.
