VERY HONEST REVIEWS: New Thrive Waterproof Eyeshadow Sticks, Westman Atelier MIMI Blush & More

Today I tried very hard to give you a cool, effortless makeup look with some new makeup I've been testing lately. It didn't really work out that way. But this GRWM does offer a valuable demonstration of the new Thrive Causemetics Infinity Waterproof Eyeshadow sticks (not to be confused with the Thrive Brilliant Eye Brightener sticks!), and I'll be demystifying the difference between the two formulas and their shade ranges.

Also, Westman Atelier released (or re-released?) their Mimi shade, and I'll spoil it - it's GORGEOUS. It's my new fave. That, a dewy skin prep sesh, raidant complexion and a swatch party at the end - this one's got something for everyone.

Thank you for review on Thrive waterproof eyeshadow. I recently bought the dark brown and Terra cotta colors. They do not seem to dry, but stay sticky on my eyelids. Not pretty on my 64 year old eyelids. I love the eyebrighteners so I'll be exchanging the eye shadow for them. Thanks for your reviews on Thrive

The WA blush is looking absolutely stunning on you at around 13:10. Although that effect was gone by the time you were doing final thoughts (probably due to heavier contouring/bronzing). What a pretty shade though.

I love the Thrive eyeshadow sticks! I'm so confused why people have had trouble with them. I'm a makeup newbie and they work perfectly for me! Makeup usually creases on me and these do not! When I blend with the sponge it works perfectly, though I only blend the outer eye because I like the rest to be vibrant. I tried Laura Mercier after buying the Thrive Causemetics eyeshadow sticks but I have had trouble with them. Some seem patchy, some blend away, and some just don't show up well on my skin. I really hope Thrive makes more eyeshadow sticks in different colors 😫

Maybe because I do not blend it all out I have a different result than others. Mine looks so vibrant and beautiful! I absolutely love it. I also never feel it on my eyelids. The ONLY time I do is after a shower (I usually put the eyeshadow on day 1 and wear it still day 2 because it lasts so well without touch ups) it may feel odd when I blink but it's not bad and it goes away. LOVE THEM ❤️ 🥰 I don't touch my powder eyeshadows anymore. I like what is quick and I know will look great every single time instead of learning how to use the powders better 😁 I'm so sad that people are having trouble with them because they may not expand on it..

; it's funny seeing the swatches on your hand at the end because the colors look nothing like that on my skin lol I didn't know the lighter shade was pink! It looks like a bright moonlight color on me.. maybe slightly champagne.

What you said about mascara is so true. I recently started taking collagen peptides and my eyelashes have thickened up from it (yay!). Using my Glossier Lash Slick is a completely different experience now.

I know girl my little ones just got over a little cold and it's so hard to see them in pain and agony!!! It's really difficult for me also 😕 there's nothing worst in this world then seeing them like that and knowing there's nothing we can do ...it's heartbreaking...I'm so glad everyone's feeling better!

1 - Investing in a humidifier for my office and one for the bedroom is a purchase I would make over and over again. It is such a game changer when the weather is cold and dry. I spent a night in a hotel this weekend for work and haven’t been away in a long time. The first thing I told my fiancé when I got home is what a difference the humidifiers make and I was so happy to get home to them. That hotel turned me into a dry husk of a human.
2 - Mascara! Yes to everything you said and thank you for turning my into a Thrive Mascara convert. It’s the only mascara that doesn’t transfer on me and I have the worlds most oily eyelids. And I love that’s it’s so easy to remove. It’s funny you brought it up in this video because I just repurchased it this morning before I watched you. I also finally sprung for one of the original eye shadow sticks having remembered your endorsement of them and I’m glad I made the right decision between the two.

Came here to see what you had to stay about the Thrive Eyeshadow Sticks. Mostly, I wanted to make sure it's not just me who felt disappointment! I LOVE my Eye Brightener Sticks, so I tried the Shadow Sticks, and TBH may have bought too many (pink eye = throw out makeup!). They make my eyelids stick together! I don't like it. Very interesting. The Thrive Brilliant Eye Brighteners do not work for me--they have zero staying power and have disappeared from my eyelids in an hour. And so many of the colors were just...so...similar. Will not repurchase the eye brighteners but am now excited to try these new sticks. 😁

I appreciate this review. I had seen one on TicTok from a woman who was a bit older (Like I am at 51) and she said the Thrive Waterproof Eyeshadow didn't work well for an older woman with a hooded eye because the upper/lower lids would stick together at the crease. This review helped me to not waste money.

Always love learning from you and hearing your reviews! I cannot believe that I bought a cream blush.. I only have one powder blush that I recently got from Ere Perez (tapioca cheek color in Paris) but when I saw Mimi from Westman Atelier.. wow! You sold me :) and this is after you recently inspiring me to finally try cream makeup/Roen 11:11 & Kiss my liquid lip balms in Remi and Charlie (received yesterday) as well as Salt New York which I just received today and already love them all. I’m re-thinking my stance on blush. I have rosacea and acne/post acne redness so I always stayed away from blush, but now i’m seeing so many more suitable and nuanced color options. Westman Atelier is expensive.. but since this will be my only cream blush, I can honestly justify it! This is a long way of saying thank you ❤️

We need similar shades to Mimi!!! ADORE ADORE ADORE that shade! My absolute favorite of the brand… and overall!!! Is am praying everyday they will make it permanent ! I need to prepare myself to find a similar color …in case!!! The 2 I found were close were Laura mercier ginger and hourglass loyal!!!
