Short answer: We die

Long answer: A collective group of humans such as us shall all perish in the green yet strong and quick grip of the swamp inhabiting, insectivorous plant specimen Dionaea muscipula, or more commonly known as the Venus Flytrap

Edit: i made it longer lol

Safe to say the venus flytrap could never be big enough to eat a person since something that big would need to eat something as big as us often enough to maintain those nutrients you mentioned. Side-note, it would probably take more than the 12 or so days to digest us cause regardless we are huge and that's a lot for a plant to digest... that thing would be happily nibbling on us for probably a month at least.

The cover photo isn’t even a Venus fly trap. It’s a Nepenthes. I’d be very interested to see what would happen with that plant considering the digestive system is different.

Instead of a succulent nectar to lure insects, the man-eating fly trap lures humans with a simple dollar bill on a string.

it's so interesting how we see these tiny plants and think of them as nothing interesting but when you do closeup shots and analyse them it turns out they are very interesting... and it's true for most things, that's why I love watching documentaries on literally anything

He said that the Venus flytrap gets its nutrients from the soil mainly but they live in highly acidic soil devoid of nutrients so that is why they evolved to eat insects
