The Opinel Garden Knife. A Blade Profile Better for Wood Carving?

I love the Opinel folding knives but for some tasks, like wood carving, I prefer a straighter blade profile with less up-sweep. The No.8 Garden Knife seems to be just the ticket. I believe the Garden Knife has a blade profile that is more useful for many of the tasks I will use it for.

I agree that I like the blade shape of the garden knife but the handle shape of the standard model. If you do make a combination of these two models, please do a tutorial video on how to do it! Thanks!

I would love getting the gardening knife IF it was available in their standard carbone steel.
Personally, I like the slim handle because it disappears in your pocket unlike their standard handle.

The difference in color is because the inox ones aren’t tinted while the carbon ones are
