10 Best Modern Games That Had ZERO Boss Fights

As much as we love boss fights (and we really, really do), and as much as we would like to see more developers try and delivering memorable encounters against big bad enemies, we know that they're be no means a pre-requisite for a great game.

Over the years, in fact, there's been no shortage of profoundly engaging and unforgettable experiences that haven't had boss fights whatsoever- and here, we'll be talking about a few such examples.

Rockstar games that did have boss fights were gta sa, gta vice city and bully . Bully had a lot of boss fights .

I am perfectly fine with games having no boss fights. Most boss fights suck anyway, just keep shooting/hacking repeatedly until it morphs to the next phase, repeat for as many phases it has.

Usually the last sequence or part of a game is a boss fight in itself

Eh, with RDR2, Rockstar can barely do passable gunplay and combat mechanics. Why make boss fights in that case?

Uncharted TLL and RDR2 do have boss fights, just like Uncharted 4 and others.
A boss fight in a game with guns is not always a gun fight with explosions and things like that...

I dunno I am a firm believer that games have to have boss fights - it's a staple of the medium, it's a test of your skills. And I am really happy that they started making a comeback in the recent years - as opposed to the previous era of modern gaming. Now we even have bosses back in FPS games! How cool is that?!
