6:59 trust me, you do not want hand tracking while you're using a computer.. So many times I've been washing dishes while my controllers charge or cooking hell, even just sitting down at my computer. I end up scratching my face or grabbing something and my quest 3 pick up my hand movements and end up moving a window or switching something. It gets really annoying. Perhaps they're implementation would be better than what it's currently been but I don't think that's something you want. But, to each their own.

Virtual Desktop didn't want to sell to Meta, so Meta is reverse engineering the software. They haven't quite caught up to VD, but getting close.

8:44 - It's weird that you had to mess with the Display settings to adjust monitor arrangement... one of the great things about this W11 integration is that it should do this step automatically for you (least for me it does) every time I pick up a screen with my controller or hand and move it in VR.

Any idea why in my headset (Quest 3) the toggle for Pair to PC with Microsoft Mixed REality Link is grayed out? I see the option but I can't toggle it, the entire option seems disabled? my software says its at V72 and I have the other v72 features...am I missing another setting required to get this one usable?

Finally, a step in the right direction with this update—at least for me personally. I was trying to upload pictures from my phone, but until last week, it was not possible to upload from my Android phone, and the Quest didn’t recognize my panoramic pictures as such. Today, it seems to work, but it is restricted to a limited number of pictures per upload.

With my Pico4 Ultra, I can upload as many pictures as I like. Now I wonder if it recognizes my 3D movies correctly too... A few moments later: no. It sees my 3D pictures uploaded via the APK on my phone as panoramic pictures. So, still limited.

I’ve uploaded pictures to my Quest via SideQuest, but it doesn’t recognize the uploaded panorama pictures as such. To achieve that, I have to upload them via my phone. The Pico4 Ultra is still easier to use for this. However, like the Quest 3, it doesn’t recognize 3D SBS pictures as 3D but rather as panoramic pictures.

I tried this feature day one when it rolled out, just to see what it was like and ended up actually working at 9pm, when I'm technically off the clock at 4:30pm for 4hrs when I had only intended to check it out for a few minutes. It is not perfect and there are a few things that I would love to see added down the line, but it is a fantastic start and a viable productivity solution, at least for my workflow.

I got to say this is all very exciting! I cant wait to get this update so I can use multi monitors. The Quest 3s has to be one of the best headsets I have seen yet, value for money wise. The Quest 3 line is a huge success!

Not a bad start for an official app but Virtual desktop is miles ahead of this, which means there's not much reason to use it yet

Just a heads-up for anyone living outside the US: non-US keyboard layouts (e.g. QWERTZ, AZERTY) are not supported for bluetooth keyboards, regardless of system language.

v72 looks really cool (haven't got it yet), but I wonder how well it works vs Virtual Desktop. I access my PC to watch YouTube, Disney+, Netflix, etc via Virtual Desktop while in MR when I'm cleaning the house, and I can see the VR screen through the walls and floors of my townhouse, X-ray vision (sort of). If v72 can do that, then I am really impressed

I've been out of the VR space for a while. I'm curious the difference between this and virtual desktop. I think I read that virtual desktop now allow multiple monitors. What is the best software for those looking to play 2d games and work in VR?

How do I scan the code? It won’t let me scan with my headset?
