Thanks to your video, I discovered how imperative it is to stand on the correct side of the line when placing the end portal blocks as i had the pattern correct but i was placing both of one direction from one side of the portal instead of standing dead center. Thank you for making this so clear in your video, it was so much help and I'll besure to remember this time for the future.

For the people who say it doesn't work, you have to stay in the middle of the portal
Edit: i've come back to this video to tell you guys that you have to place the blocks while standing inside the portal
