The best orange cake at home, easy to make!

Ingredients:
-2eggs
-3tbsp sugar
-Fresh juice from two oranges
-1tbsp orange zest
-1/2 cup vegetable oil
-1tsp vanilla essence
-1-1/2cup all purpose flour
-1tbsp baking powder
-pinch of salt

For the syrup:
-1/4 cup fresh orange juice
-1tbsp sugar

For the orange glaze:
-1/2 cup icing sugar or powdered sugar
-1tbsp orange juice
-1tsp orange zest

*Bake cake at 170C or 340F for 45mins or until toothpick is inserted in the middle and comes out clean.

This recipe is good. My cake came out so soft and moist. I added in both vanilla and of orange essence instead. I also didnt add the glaze because i didnt have enough icing sugar 😅 I will definitely be making this again soon. ❤ thank you!!!

Looks lovely, you should cook the orange before putting it in and also when you tap the tray it’s good for things like brownies to take the air out, but for a cake like this you don’t have to do that. Love orange drizzle, you should try Mary berry’s recipe but substitute lemon for orange and add juice to it like you did
