I'm still upset there are no water mobs in Fallout 4 epically with the far Harbor DLC. Like imagine how much scarier finding the Marine assault armour would be if there where actually something chasing you down. Or what if that quest with the mariner actually had you hunt down some water beast forcing you to use the harpoon gun (Which in this case would be the only weapon to fire underwater)

The horror that came from the metro tunnels in Fallout 3 could’ve been rivaled by the depths of water mysteries in Fallout 4. Too bad for deadlines.

I always imagined mirelurk queens would make great leviathans in the waters of fallout 4, to discourage you from just swimming everywhere as a shortcut, or losing your power armor.

that actually looks like it'd fit in the game, like some whale mutated

This man got mad editing skills.

I would believe him if he added the bloop in half life 1.

The oceans in fallout 4 always for some reason naturally terrified me because of all the large horrifying monsters on the ground. I imminently when first playing thought of what couldnt be put into the water thinking some big monster was gonna attack me from the shadowy water but they never added any. It is pretty disappointing it would have been such a good way of making the oceans super terrifying for people with a pretty big fear of stuff in the ocean

the most unrealistic thing about this is the player not trying to use vats and spam headshots as soon as they saw the creature

This makes me wish they put some horrors in the water in Fallout 4 and especially Far Harbor.

First time i played the game i was convinced there would be things like that. Somewhere in the sea, or during that quest with a pump in thicket excavations. It just looks like a perfect way to make swimming around and diving more intense, especially knowing how helpless the player is underwater. Still upset it turned out to be just paranoia

As someone who lives in Boston they did drop the ball on stuff that the could have did with the water man. Some locations in general could have been done a bit better too but I digress.

The Bloop is actually based on a cryptid of the same name. And since many of the monsters of Fallout are based on Cryptids, it could really fit well in the game.

Yea if this was in the game getting that island outpost would be 10 times scarier

This would make trudging around under water in power armor worth it.

Try this:

1 - Add "Mutant Menagerie" plus "Horrors of the Deep Fog" in your LO.
2 - Just put the Targeting HUD mod to your PA helmet.
3 - Go wander at the beach Northwest, look at the water.
4 - ???... !
5 - Become very tempted at either ask if Virgil accepts an extra tenant, or disabling Depth of Field and adding "Underwater Combat" to your LO.

Even the things "Mutant Menagerie" and "South of the Sea" include at the Glowing Sea aren't as scary as underwater.

I’m so upset that they didn’t release the water level for Fallout 4. Apparently there would have been multiple water type mobs and buildable bases underwater. It would have been so frightening yet awesome at the same time.
