Justin, Looks like Elvis has become your wingman. It is wonderful to see how you took him under your wing as cameraman and dive buddy.

I commented on you making them removed the plywood for you could inspect it for no rot underneath, and you like that. I have another big one to suggest to you, I have never in all my life and I have been around many boats wooden boats fiberglass boats, and I never seen a boat with not a bilge pump. Install you should put at least a couple of them in, they hitch up to the power of the battery of the gasoline engine, I heard Elvis say when you rent out the boat. If for any crazy reason they should hit a rock underneath the water. That bow could fill up with water in no time at all, and it would be very difficult to be shoveling it out in buckets, maybe they could do it and maybe they could. But a good bilge pump. What pump out the water with no problem as long as it wasn't a gigantic hole, I would recommend to at least have two bilge pumps in that bolt and a whole drilled in the walls that separates each section, so if it is a massive hole it could flow through the next hole and that bilge pump would handle it. I know this is not Philippine technology but in America nobody would ever put a boat especially that size in the water with at least two or three bilge pumps on it, to handle any of the problems. And they usually have a switch that you can turn them on manually, the float and device on the bilge pump will automatically turn the pump on when the water gets a couple inches deep, and there is a hose coming off the bilge pump, make sure them hose are not below the waterline, 6 to 10 inches above the waterline preferably 10 inch. That could easily save your boat from sinking and damage to the engine. Check into this Justin, it could save your boat someday. Just concerned that's all my friend that you do not lose that big investment that you are putting in that boat

missing the boat updates ... hope everything is going well
Justin, pls consider technical divers for your layout design, sidemount, doubles and even rebreathers. No tank holes pls, a table or high bench to set up gear, etc...

It’s good to add western advance inputs into traditional Filipino boat building and repair. At the same time, westerners should also realize that Filipino boat building and sailing has been going on very much earlier, because Polynesians and Filipinos has been known to be skilled sea farers much earlier in world history.

As proof, it was during the Song dynasty in around 1, 000 AD that Chinese scribers recorded in their books that Filipino traders from the Butuan kingdom from Agusan in Mindanao came to China to get an exclusive deal to trade Chinese goods in the region to compete with Champa kingdom, now Vietnam. These Filipino traders rode in ocean sturdy boats called ‘ Balanggays’ all the way from Mindanao to China. It was only much later in the 1400 AD that a famous Chinese Admiral started sailing around Asia and the world, even reaching America, in big boats mostly patterned after the design of the Balanggay used by Polynesians and Filipinos in around 1, 000AD and much, much earlier.

Just thinking about a Pirate theme Black Pearl colors to be different from all the others out here in the Dauin area. The Critter Republic logo on your black shirt in this video has a Pirate look to it. 🏴‍☠️

You need to glass the hull, if you do it now, you need to use epoxy resin and not polyester resin, good thing about epoxy resin, it will harden and you don’t need to worry about the humidity
