I so admire Ms Lumley because of her respect and true love of cats. Unlike misguided breeders who change cats to suits themselves - never out of love, always from ego - Ms Lumley tells us the story of man and cats in a dignified, respectful intelligent way. I feel pain and joy watching her videos on the subject but I am grateful that cats have Joanna Lumley as a spokes person. Thank you.

I'm only familiar with Joanna Lumley from, "Absolutely Fabulous, " so seeing Dame Lumley not playing a role but just being herself is so sweet! And makes me very much admire her.
Besides, I'm a major cat person, and the fact that Dame Lumley likes cats so much just makes her that much cooler to me. 😄

We actually have seen cats protect families from fires-waking them when a fire has broken out at night, protect children from falls-out windows or down stairs…and from home intruders. And from dogs. So even those who think a cat needs to do the same things a dog MIGHT do, there you go.

Cats are wonderfully, regally aloof. I always feel a bit honored when they show affection for me, by curling up next to me and that lovely deep purr. I do not need to control them, I like to observe the antics.
