This is horrible. Completely horrifying. One of my closest friend has Aspergers. He tries his BEST to function "normally" and not be a disturbance. He tries to fit in society. He probably deserves more than whole bunch of other people to live.

And people ask me why I'm a misanthrope?

I have high functioning Autism and I've even been compared to Hitler just for having Autism. the amount of hate is just vomit inducing. Just because you refuse to understand Autism or any disability, does not give any vulgarity you think of any credit.

As a person with high functioning autism and mild aspergers it absolutely terrifies me that there are people out there who would, if they had it their way, rather like to see me dead.

Thank you for making this video.

I have autism and this is sickening. This is why I lost respect to humanity.

I think somebody should tell this person this:

"Ignorance can be more dangerous than stupidity"

Here is a fact: My big brother is autistic. And of my 4 siblings, I love him the most. He's quiet and very shy but loving all the same. And if anyone actually mock or says something about him in front of me, they won't be standing. I'll freaking break them.

I am autistic (specifically Asperger's Syndrome [gosh, that's hard to spell]).
I figured that there are two types of people who are important when you have issues like mine:

1) Those who understand and want to help but, of no fault of their own, can't.
2) Those who can help with no issues but are idiots who don't care

What should be the aim in all our lives, is to find/create type three:

3) Those who understand and want to help... and can

Im autistic and I have to say that these people aren't trolling. They're real. Ive been threatened before if I ever exhibit autistic traits in public (stimming, having trouble with social situations or speaking, rocking, or trouble with executive functioning skills). I've heard this from family and outsiders. My family has become much more understanding since I was diagnosed, but I still will get judgement for things that are only meant to calm me down in stressful situations. I'm intelligent and care for others, but some people want me dead because I'm different. It's terrifying. (And the world is scary enough for autistics WITHOUT fear of assault or murder.

Also, I have a job, good grades, am going into my senior year of high school and am on my way to becoming a psychologist. (This isn't very cohesive but I'm too emotional to tie this all together)

Some people don't understand the struggles people with autism go through.  I have a minor case of Aspergers, and my life has been *HELL.*  I've had to deal with people constantly mocking me, because I was a bit too loud, or a disturbance to the classroom.  In fourth grade, The teacher sent me to the Special Ed. room, told them to not let me back in the class, and I had to sit in one of those small cubicles every day until the end of the school year.  Same thing happened in 7th grade, where I had to sit in a very small, isolated room everyday.  The room was so small, that if I put my elbows up, both elbows would be inches away from touching the wall.  Because of those two years, I have pretty bad claustrophobia.  Instead of the schools trying to help me, they just isolate me from the rest of the school.

I'm autistic (Asperger's) and I am probably the best computer techie (in my own field) that you will be able to meet.

After 9/11 for instance I was at my computer helping companies who had lost servers in the WTC and how to get their data or in some cases their servers recreated. I saved companies hundreds of billions of dollars. I sat there for 72+ hours straight without sleep (I was buggered for about a week after that because being autistic I don't react well to my routine being changed and my sleep pattern was completely fucked). The reason why I was there is because nobody else in the company was able to do what I could do.

So I, as an autistic person, am definitely dead weight as far as society is concerned and have nothing whatsoever worthwhile to contribute.

My oldest brother has autism so bad to the point that he's never been able to speak in his entire life. Since he was born he has been suffering the worst kind of torture that is still deemed humane. He lived in a home separate to ours because he was out of control and had a habit of ripping papers. In this home he was probably feeling emotional pain that none of us can understand. Right now he is 28 and living a joke of a life and I saw him for the first time in five years a couple months ago and all the medication he's been on and the therapy that have induced seizures has made him condition worse to the point where he can barely function. His kind of suffering I would never wish to even the worst human beings.

I no this is a old video but thank you so much MrRepzion for backing up with people with autism. Now days people don't back up for people with autism or any other disorder for that matter as people think your either a circus freak to be laugh at or someone with a contagious disease. I myself have autism along with Bipolar and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder(OCD). My younger brother has severe autism he also has Tourette and Pica he is also nonverbal. My brother and I have struggle with autism ever since we were young and still struggle with it today. Hearing that a woman who's a mother wanting a child die becasue they have autism totally sickens me as people can't help it if they have disorders and also that mother is no human being but a monster.

The fact this letter is anonymous, she knows she's in the wrong and wanted to shield her glass house. Anonymity is the most powerful weapon for physically weak heartless instigators that enjoy gaining a false sense of superiority over their equals.

I have Asperger's and I've been called a genius by a number of people including a man whose profession was literally a rocket scientist. However, I don't actually think that I'm a genius. I just excel in certain areas that I feel passionately about and anyone can do that.

But to the point, I can say with certainty that it's only out of ignorance that anyone can come to the conclusion that we are not valuable in any way to society and need to be murdered. Humans need to have more open minds, be willing to see things differently and accept what unique abilities different people have to offer the world. It will be a better place for all when everyone's full potential is able to be utilized and appreciated in society.

I work with many autistic people, people who are mentally, and physically disabled, and they are some of the most awesome people you could ever get to know.
