Benfit of games is that indie devs prove it'll never end up horrid. If they go full EA then people will just only buy from indies, and they'll suffer, if they try and outlaw indies, then people just won't play...it's a luxury not a commodity, we will happily stick to the 1000s of allready made, top tier games we have

The only reason they have stock in any game company is because video game companies are giving them share and stocks. Since China is a big market and it under communism it make it hard for foreign company to make money in there country. Easy work around give part ownership to a Chinese company. Meaning you can now sell in China.

They are "collaborating" buying out basically EMBARK. You might know them from The Finals, and Arc Raiders.

I mean they own a good majority of all major things in the world at this point

Known for Siege and Assassin's Creed, it hurts me to see people have forgotten the Prince Of Persia.
It was one of the alpha builds of POP that made it into a solo Franchise of Assassins Creed.

Honestly it won't be a true gaming monopoly until they buy (a portion of) Valve, Playstation/Sony or Xbox/Microsoft.

Unless they buy those, they will never truly enter the console/PC market. Both consoles are basically so up each others asses that they will probably only accept something like that unless they would win the entire Xbox vs. Playstation debate. And Valve has built such a robust PC games launcher that literally nothing else compares, seeing as it has the entire gaming range: from the biggest AAA titles to the tiniest indie games, so I doubt they'd give up something like that.

So far Tencent mainly profits from mobile games, and I'm not saying that it isnt bigger, but it quite literally doesn't compete with PC and console because it's targeted at a completely different audience.

PS: Nintendo have basically seperated themselves from everyone else, which is why I didn't even mention them (before you ask)
