This woman is expressing something I feel all the time. People just don't look good.

We have a "so what" attitude towards our appearance these days, but should we? Personally, I've found that people treat me A LOT more like I want to be treated when I dress in a respectable way.

...just maybe not in the airport. Unless you know a designer!!!

American male here, she's talking about a guy she doesn't find attractive regardless to what he wears. If it's a guy she likes, he can wear anything, and she'll make excuses for it.

Also, who cares. No one's changing based on what women think, that perspective will change momentarily anyway.

I think the issue with the girl is less of an issue with fashion and more so that she doesn't like seeing men being comfortable. It's very similar to that tiktok of the girl who gets irrationally angry when her husband takes naps.

She said "why do you need to be comfy" and this discussion is now over, because her problem isnt about appearances its about assuming the state of a mans being based on what she knows about men from their appearances, which is based somewhat on her limited past experiences then mostly on her whims driving her thoughts in the moment, so very little. She needs to complain to the universe via internet that random men arent putting effort specifically into satisfying her gaze, instead of simply redirecting and tuning her gaze to something satisfactory or figuring out whatever mental issue is causing her to attribute permanent dissatisfaction to her gaze. No man benefits from having this woman in their life, so it is safe to ignore everything she has to say.

As someone who does the reverse of HM, always putting my own confort in front of my exterior appearance, the first thing I learned in my 20s is that if a girl likes you, she will like you even wearing a garbage bag as a suit. If the girl doesn't find you attractive you will be invisible. You may try to wear nice clothes, but you are still a ghost to her. Even if you approach her wearing an Armani suit, her brain will discard you because your name is weird, and its wednesday, or the most obvious reason; she's a libra.
Maybe you loose some "hunting ground" in between, but it's irrelevant, she either finds you attractive or not, she will rationalize the rest of the way. So dressing nice is a good tool to have in your toolbox, but not crucial.
And in my 30s with way less hormones in my system, if dressing confortably and ugly leads to less interaction with women, I see it as a win-win situation.
